The Game of Life 2 is a fun game when played with friends. The multiplayer experience adds a lot of unpredictability, making each round feel fresh. However, playing solo can get dull rather quickly, as most of the game’s features are already explored after just one round. On the plus side, in solo mode, you can speed up the wheel spins and other animations by up to five times, which helps the game progress much faster.

The DLCs, while adding interesting new themes and options, feel a bit overpriced. It’s also a downside that all friends need to own the same DLCs to enjoy them together. Unfortunately, in online mode, you can’t fast-forward the AI turns, which can become a bit tedious over time.

Despite these drawbacks, the game (of Life 2) offers an enjoyable experience, especially for groups of friends looking for a casual, easy-to-pick-up game. Overall, I’d rate it a solid 7/10.
