The last, because that way I can switch seasons in a different way and avoid a season switch while I finish the others without losing that 20%. for maybe a day. Oh, or the golden egg that improves Golden Cookies.
Once things slow down the eventually most of these become irrelevant as you have time to unlock them all, and even the most expensive cat gets unlocked a couple of minutes in, so by this point speeding up the first hour or so doesn't make much impact when you take days to get enough prestige to make ascending worthwhile, so it mostly tends to be a rotation of the most expensive stuff you unlocked in the previous ascension (5% or 10% cookies, or occasionally one of the later building upgrades).
One golden cookie upgrade is enough as far as I'm concerned. Just save and reload after you clicked your first golden cookie and bought the other upgrades.
For the last three it depends on how long your prestiges are.
I tend to focus on things that would take days to unlock.
Everything else comes fast and easy just by playing, you're basically just trying to save some cookies by having the more expensive buffs already started.
Just update to the next most expensive of each for every ascension, until you're maxed.
That would only be good in the very early game at most (if then), in the late game you get all kittens in the first 5-10 seconds of each run anyway, so this would provide no noticeable benefit at all, and even by the mid game at best 1-2 kittens take any amount of time to save up for.
On point.
The only kitten which would be useful on a perma slot, is the "Fortune #103"-one.
