UPDATE: Steam Input seems to be the issue. It also set the default Control Template to Keyboard (WASD) and Mouse. Fix: If you right click on the game name "Hellworld!" Then go to Manage -> Controller Layout, you need to click the COG Wheel and Choose "Disable Steam Input". After I did this, the controls worked fine. I ran into a couple of weird issues in the newest demo release which you may or may not be aware of. During the first big sheep boss fight, at one point I tried to possess a sheep, which I seemed to successfully do, but at the same time Seth was still visible on top of the sheep, and he could be hit and injured by other sheep's projectiles.
