Theories on the Game (Spoilers)
Im just spewing my own theories I made when going through this game so I'm just gonna post them here. If anyone has any other theories that are for/against mine youre all welcome to reply

- P-chan is Ame
I feel like theres so much to say how you, the player, is not really a person, moreso ame's psychological persona. It'd make sense as to why you always see ame's webcam when she's not streaming. Other factors are also in one of the endings where ame stabs the PC screen and you see her reflection, also hinting at this. Every interaction where she views P-chan as a human could be her pretending to cope with how she lives alone in her apartment. She wants to have someone to love but she doesn't know how to. Whenever ame hangs out with you could just be her spending time to herself. P-chan could basically be a part of ame's brain that decides for her to do for the day. Whether it be going outside, smoking weed, "bedroom"(most likely a "self love" session) or starting a stream. The private tweeter and dms could just be ame's other side telling her P-chan side how that side of her feels. (it also could be like a mood log of sorts to track how she was doing those days) Another theory could be P-chan is derived from com-puter. I'd like to hear what y'all think though because there could be other things I have looked over

- KAngel is who ame wants to be/date
Ame for what we see is almost opposite to her KAngel counterpart. Ame's more quiet, shy, bitter of the world, while KAngel is more outgoing and has a positive view on the world. KAngel could also be what ame aspires to be. I like to think its who she wants to date because of ame and KAngel having almost start different aesthetics (and how opposites attract)

- The whole game is just ame thinking into the future/planning
I was thinking of all the endings of a whole and piecing them in different ways, it does feel like we're just in ame's brain trying to ration with becoming a streamer. All the different endings are just different possible routes that she could take when she does go for this path. Ame doesn't strike me as a person who wouldnt think this far ahead either. I could see the true ending unlocking is ame understanding the endings and what would lead her to those conclusions. So maybe her fast forwarding stuff in the true ending is just her understanding herself in a sense. Her obsession for the internet's approval, how its a toxic relationship, her 2 selves KAngel and ame. It was all done so she can realise that she doesnt need either KAngel or ame to guide her in her life. That she shouldn't be codependent on either and walk with her own volition. (Why the gameplay was sped-up and on automode I can only think 1. Its her using her knowledge of herself to basically become her dreams or 2. to cut to the chase of the end idk im still off on why). Either way, I like to think she realises she needs to stop being so codependent on p-chan and KAngel, and that neither should be ignored. That she should make her choices off her whole self (I wonder if the devs watched evangelion)

This game was really fun regardless. Perhaps I'm absolutely wrong about everything, and that the ending is kept vague so people can get their own takeaway from the story. This game really is like art now I think about it. The kind that really gets your brain to think on it and simmer for a while. If you guys have anything else of note to add like things in game I missed, or theories that can support/reject my theories I would love to read them. I may have some confirmation bias so I do apologize in advance lmao

Yeah, pretty sure p-chan ain't real, last "secret" ending was all but explicitly saying these words. "Milk inside/outside bag of milk" game vibes, although she's still not as far gone.

Can't say for sure whether initial endings are Ame's theories/imagination, or the final one. Maybe it's even implied that every day she's mentally playing out several ways her current path can end, or could end with a different past choice - seeing how we can freely go to any day in a save and try new things. So I'd like to believe the secret ending is what really happened. That, or at least she went to study and got a real job.

And yea I'm replying to a month old thread lmao because this is the first one I saw talking about theories behind endings.

is fine lmao. I mean i can totally see ame being like a 9-5 worker who hates her job and imagines the streamer life. Given how she references poor grades at school, she would be stuck in a dead end job. This game could be a fantasy world/imagination in how she could work her dream job
