The game starts in Japanese?

And all my save files are gone? Even though I have played before?
I haven't played in a long time, but still...

Ah, unfortunately with the new update of the game it's got a chance to wipe ALL your save data. The devs haven't fixed this yet even though it's been happening for a while. I made a tutorial about how to backup your save data until this is fixed:
Go to This PC -> Program Files (x86) -> Steam -> steamapps -> common -> NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE -> Then copy Windose_Data and paste it in a new folder on your desktop.
Name it something like NSO backup so you can find it later if you need it.
This can't help the fact your data is already gone, but atleast if you wanna play again you can keep your progress safe until this bug is fixed.

You can at least edit back in the endings you've lost in text.
Open the settings file in a text editor of your choice, scroll to
"ENDINGS" : {
"__type" : "System.Collections.Generic.List`1[[NGO.EndingType, Assembly-CSharp, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null]],mscorlib",
"value" : [

]
}
Open the game and count the endings, type in the value brackets the numbers in left-to-right of which endings you've already gotten separated only by commas, save the settings file, and close the game.

Here's my reply to the "The game starts in Japanese?" part. The game is Japanese, yes, but if you look in the top left corner(?) you'll see a cogwheel. Click it and then click the English box. Hope that helped out!

yeah i know its japanese i was just so confused on why when i had it set to english previously lol
and its not like i downloaded it in japan or something lol
