Misogyny and female self-loathing
When she is doing healthy activities, she has no fans. When she "accidentally" shows her breasts, she suddenly has so many followers. The whole game orientation seems to be saying that women must be attractive to men to survive. What a toxic Internet surroundings. And when she finally gets full health, the game warns me that the game is down, that it needs the presence of a perpetually young, mentally unstable, and attention-seeking little girl for her own existence.

I don't like the answers you have received so far, so I'm writing mine.

I completely understand what you mean by that, but I think that it's a way to criticize how the streaming world is for many females. She gets more followers and more engagement on her social media when she sexually appeals to her audience, whatever it takes to show a tiny bit of her skin or to make provocative comments or posts, at the cost of her mental health. By taking that path she, a girl that already has certain tendencies in her mental health, collapses.

I think that's the focus of the game. I don't think this game is intended to be wholesome at all but to show how hard can it be to become a female streamer from scratch.

Of course, in reality, this is not something that ALL female streamers (or female content creators) go through, but you need to take into account that NSFW content moves an incredible amount of money and engagement because there's a huge amount of consumers. We can also see how some of the viewers seem to make parasocial comments to her, and they probably wouldn't bat an eye to drop their wallets if that allowed them to see her with even fewer clothes and whatnot.

Lastly, take into account how morbid people are on the internet. As soon as someone with a certain popularity (and probable cute-innocent image) transitions to an "OF" type of content, people get hyped to pay just for the sake of seeing that person's body and knowing what it looks like, even if it's just for once.

The player's not necessarily supposed to be a positive influence. I don't wanna spoil anything if you haven't gotten all endings.

depicting negative / toxic things is not an endorsement of negative / toxic things even if it does so in a facetious or uncomfortable way

misognoy HOW? xD the game neevr even tells you what gender " pchan " even is, you dolt.
never mind the fact the player is NOT influeincing Ame, this is literally all her, my dude.
take your propaganda and stuff it.

the game throws a ton of clues to you that P chan isnt real. like, many many many clues.
there's no misogony, ther'es no damn guys in this entire game - and to make your entire diatribe utterly pointless, the creator of the game IS A PROFESSIONAL IN PSYCHOLOGY OF ONLINE MEDIA INFLUENCERS lmao! they literally know the entire deal about how online interactions are.
Jesus Christ, calm down. The OP wasn't even fixed on P-chan, so the majority of your rant is off-topic and unprompted spoilers.

I think OP missed the point of the game.

Also sex sells, and that's a fact.

You can gain many followers in the game just by continuously streaming and managing your stats. Yes, it's true that sexy/ASMR streams has a higher follower multiplier, but all other categories of streams give you a huge amount of followers just by following through to the end.

Heck, the stream with the largest base follower multiplier isn't even any sexy/ASMR, it's Chat and Chill 5.

Of course, taking into account experience points earned through doing various activities and stream, it's not totally set in stone, but that's the point I'm making here. Depending on what you do, you can personally influence how many followers you'll obtain.

And that's pretty much the message of the game. How Ame turns out and how she ends up is based on your choices you make for her in the game. You don't have to make her show skin if you really don't want to, you can still progress just fine without it.

The game was done like this on purpose. It's utilised as this instrument to make a meta criticism about Twitch culture and content creating in the modern Internet era in general. About how exploitative and obsessed humans can get for that extra reach of clout.

Doesn't exclusively apply to streaming either, which is why you see stuff like Twitter and a 4chan knock off on the 'Internet' tab. It spreads out across all the corners of the Internet we got to see today. How some people are so obsessed on Twitter for an extra like or share that think their opinion is imperative and definitive, or how low a person can get to reach a milestone on YouTube/Twitch that they would give up their soul and dignity for it.

Or are you really gonna tell me now that the girls that skinny dip in a small pool in front of a camera on Twitch, or do ASMR streams literally sucking on the microphone, or the men on YouTube making all these clickbait-ish, flashy thumbnails and wacky "content" to prey on children's views and their parents' money and credit cards actually do it for the sake of creativity and content?

Girls skinny dipping in swimsuits do it because sex sells. Men preying on children financially do it because children are the easiest to exploit.n Hell, even Vtubers exploit lonely men from their money by creating this fake, parasocial interactivity between them and the avatar they use. Some even had sex on stream and nobody batted an eye. It got to the point where the game, the work of fiction, that tried to imitate life, in the end got imitated by life itself in a crazy turn of events.

And all parties do it in the end because money makes the world go round.
And companies turn a blind eye because that content generates them revenue.

I'm pretty sure this whole thread was just bait for OP to garner some replies, which is ironic considering we're in a game criticising just this kind of behaviour, but I know there's people out there who can't get a clue dropped in their fried brains and actually have this kind of mentality.

For those kind of people, there's only one thing to tell them, albeit to no avail.

Get a grip, dumbass.
