At the same time they introduced this new random buff card system, that some people want to make you believe is just a minor bonus that wont make much difference and all, but it is obvious they balanced the game around this system and at later level with inflated stats these cards give huge bonus especially when stacked.
The challenge felt rewarding, i get that people disliked the lv cap an difficulty option to disable it would be the best but personally i loved it, for the first time im doing some tactics in this game.
Yeah, why didn't they make the weapon skills equipped by just equipping the right weapon like counter and parry are? makes zero sense. If you want to dual wield two different weapons, then you half your skills slots are gone lol
as someone thats played this game since the 90's i got wrecked on the first attempt. wasnt expecting the spike in difficulty for that fight lol
1v1ing Leonar previously was also quite nasty as a warrior lol
did it on the 2nd attempt with some changes. i also took in a dragon to tank the stairs and healed it with the % heal items lol
i also equipped the knights with guardian force to damage split and soak the damage and threw on drain MP on my wiz to keep Oz dry so no op nukes :P
Ozma still crit my main character in all +1 gear for 1600 with her water whip special at the end of the fight when i tried to approach her... my MC warrior only had 1100 max HP lol... he was the only one that died during the fight.
they didnt really... more shifted where the loadouts are coming from.
in LUCT you can equip 10 things most of which comprise of things like the weapon skill and other passives like + move, counters, parrys, wade ect ect
in Reborn you have 4 main ones on your character and 3+ from gear and upgrading the gear. + the buff cards that more than fill in any power gap... they kinda OP (tho i still dont know how i feel about them) and not to mention a lot of the auto skills were hard casts that used up a turn in LUCT
i just want to be able to see the unlearnt skills list on the classes lol
