Steam Error. Application load error 3:0000065432
Hey everyone.
I hope someone can help as I really want to play this one. I just bought the game and got this error when launching.

Steam Error. Application load error 3:0000065432

I already check the integrity of the game and everything looks valid. I have a

OS: Windows 11
CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x
RAM: 32GB
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2070 SUper

Did anyone have the same error and fix it?

I didn't get a load error but I simply was unable to start the game on my main computer for some reason. The process started running but never a window nor sound came. Ended up refunding it :(

Worked fine on my laptop though.

W10/6700k/32GB/6700XT (so quite different)

Yeap and most of them recommended an integrity check, which I did and steam didn't find any problem

I have my games divided into three different disks, steam allows it though, and until now wasn't a problem, but I could try to move this one to C which is where steam is installed. At this point, I'm open to any suggestions.

I think you could try launching steam in Admin mode or placing the game in the main steam located disk. It's worth a try.

Have you tried the dumbest but sometimes most basic fix which is restarting your pc ?
Usually when I have access errors that helps me....

Tried a restart, same problem. I hate steam doesn't have a log or something more detailed to look into it.

Is this the first time this has happened to a game of yours ? Have you tried repairing the folder through Steam itself ?

This is a bit of a weird thing but have you tried turning off your anti virus before launching the game to see if it isn't blocked by your anti virus ?

See if these tips help

https://appuals.com/fix-application-load-error-30000065432/

Another cause of the error is an over protective security software, AV. for example, F-Secure Internet Security has something called "Deep Guard" that can interfere with games. And some AV's like Norton can also block or remove the exe, so try adding the game exe to your AV whitelist / ignore list.

If you tried the common solutions, then maybe it could be a third party program issue.

I have almost 300 games in the library, and I only recall this happening for Heroes of Might and Magic 3 - HD Edition (I ended up requesting a refund, It hurt doing it). I had 2 other games blocked with the antivirus but the error was different (Song of Conquests and No Man Sky), and the antivirus pop up telling me, "I blocked this". This is not the same case

Well the last thing I know it could be is a program that you have running in the background if not, I'm at a loss you could try restarting your pc in diagnostic mode to see if nothing you've got installed is working against your game launching.

Fixed. It was, after all, an antivirus problem. I have Carbon Cloud Sensor installed, I tried with it off and the game worked as a charm. It's rare thought that I had two games also blocked by it but in those cases, I had the antivirus telling me it was him blocking them. In this case, there was no hint whatso ever.
Thanks a lot, everyone! I really wanted to play this one, I'm a huge fan of GameBoy old tactics games.
