GAmeplay loop
Since i'm considering getting this game i want first to ask a question about gameplay.
I see that in this game there is world map where you move between locations but i wonder if this have any means other than clicking to move to next location to progress the story?
Is there something happen on the world map like attack on previously conquered castles so we need to defend or lose the location? Or there are only battles once per location to progress story and apart from this and that training mode is there something more happen in the campaign?

Once per location and then you move or do training battle. Later on some dungeons going to open up for better gear and some secret jobs.

there use to be random encounters that would happen, but thats not part of it any more. Its basically for moving the story along and going back to shop or train or crap like that.

Ahh ok thx guys so it is a waste potential for me like in FF Tactics, such nice world map, so many possibilities and it end up only to be "next mission" button.
I pass, thx again for saving me 50 bucks.

The story is still top shelf and the game play is still good. if the price is the problem its still worth some money and definitely a legend of its time, maybe wait for a sale. Otherwise pick it up if you like RPGs and TRPGs.

No price is not the problem but only one of the reason i pass on this, always liked FFT but hate its story driven nature would prefer some kind of tactic strategy with stuff i mentioned in first post even without story, FFT always cry for me for such gameplay elements. Didnt know Tactics Ogre before, only i know that this game was before tactics, got hope they enchance gameplay like in my dream.
When there will be sale like 50% someday then i maybe get it i'm simply not interested in playing for story, back in the day i read everything in numerous RPG's i played but today i simply want to play and cant stand few minutes min of reading story.
