Premium Soundtrack
I wish square enix would learn offering a soundtrack or digital artbook for their games are considered dead content because no one really wants to turn on steam or a console just to listen to a soundtrack when they can listen too it on their phone easier.

I understand this is a remaster of an old game but still... if you're going to offer a soundtrack, give us a code to use somewhere else or something... or maybe just don't offer it. Personally seeing stuff like this makes my eye twitch.

Anywho... hope this is a good game! (never got to play it back in the day) but I really look forward to this now yus yus. <3 <3

Im pretty sure, because I do it, you can sync your OST from Steam with your itunes library. I have my all my games OST on my phone and tablet.

Just add the music folder to itunes, then sync the library with your devices.

Or get the cheaper version without it.

probably stick to Jacks suggestion and buy on itunes later. to much work around, compared to convenience. I know Jack just posted to likely spit on the post but it's just seeing this sort of stuff and the publisher considering that content worth buying is starting to irritate me.

At least it's not NFTs but still.... i mean you can't even play these things on consoles without only playing That. So you can't even play the video game while playing this unless you do the work around.

Quite the opposite. I think the deluxe version isn't worth it for exactly the reasons you mention. Get the normal version. Having an orchestral version of the soundtrack is great, just not on Steam/console.

Apologies, I just naturally expect people to be mean lol. Consider it a defensive mech in my mind. Thank you for not being such.

I agree though. Just wish they offered something else for that extra bang for the buck (did not buy the premium version)

I know it's a bit of an ask but maybe someday, someone there will read this and be like... yeah you know not making sense no no..

While I'm not in the financial spot to drop extra cash on a soundtrack these days, I remember having to drive almost an hour to a Japanese import store and spend 35$ that was worth a heck of a lot more then than it is now to buy a copy of the FF7 soundtrack. It's a bonus for those who want it bad enough and if not... Their only other option on a game this old is pretty much an art book that would probably be hard to pull together. Is what it is.

If you only paid $35 back in the day, I'm going to guess you got a bootleg one anyway.

My imported version of the FFT soundtrack I got back when the original game came out is one of my prize possessions. Still my favorite game soundtrack of all time.

The new live version of Ogre's soundtrack is clearly something they're proud of. And they should be. Its great. But still an underwhelming extra for a 'deluxe' version. Thankfully there's both versions so the user gets to decide its value for themselves.

The soundtrack is just a directory within the game's files.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\TacticsOgre\OST"
You don't need steam to actually play it lol
Just copy & paste the files to wherever really

The real question is, is it lossless, lossy or cbr mp3?
Lossless is like CD quality (flac/wav)
Lossy is kinda itunes and vbrs are just like youtube, quality wise I mean.
