I am disappointed they didn't do anything with the "multiplayer" the PSP had. Where you could download other people's teams and fight them, controlled by the AI. With PC, that could have been pretty awesome.
This isn't just a glam up of the PSP version. Every system has been adjusted, rebalanced, and streamlined. Lots of people have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to this game. If you are wanting to know more about what it actually is, hunt down the various streamers that have had access to it for the last like month and have been revealing the crap out of act one, as that's all they've been allowed to reveal. Watch them play and talk about it. Coffee Potato is a good place to start personally.
But there are some features in this game that makes the addition of some sort of PvP very plausible.
For one, there is a profanity filter on names. Some skills which have 0 usage in the actual PvE also exist. And their existance would only make sense in a PvP setting. PvP may be something they are planning to add into the game.
If this is just the download another player's team to fight that would be dull, but if they add actual PvP, that would be cool.
