Also, "mad woman" seems to be a common theme for whoever made tactics and tactics ogre.

The "council that oversees such things" is the UN. They, along with Raphael Lemkin, literally invented and defined the term at the UN Convention on Genocide in 1948. The Council that has since given an incomplete definition has backtracked back to the definition used by the original UN Convention WITH an update; there must be proof that killing a group was specifically for their ethnic/racial group/religous/national background. That's it.

I argued that theft and steal AREN'T SYNONYMS, because they AREN'T SYNONYMS. Different parts of speech cannot be synonyms. Once again, putting words in my mouth to argue a point I didn't make. You refused to accept facts YOU LINKED and didn't bother to read. You tried to argue with lawyers, USC and SCOTUS, because you refused to accept that infringement isn't theft, it is a different property crime (when a crime). Then, realizing they had made a mistake by leaving out "in part or in whole", corrected it. Baramus was genocide. This isn't my first time arguing with someone about genocide that believes it is only genocide if the goal is extermination. That is not a requirement of genocide. EVERY single time I've come up against it (never been over a massacre in a video game before), it is because they used the definition made by an arbitrary portion of the UN, which redacted and fixed their definition 2 years later because they realized their mistake.

Baramus was genocide. It is based on a real life genocide.

I chuckled. What's funnier, when I DID get a ban, it was for basically calling him a genocide denier about real-world genocides, because it could spiral off topic. I had no idea he ALSO believed that about the genocide in this game. I wonder what he thinks about the elves or Qunari in Dragon Age, or the Venezuelan genocide in Front Mission...4 I think it was? Or the Wutai genocide that is alluded to in FF7, or the genocide of the espers in FF6.
