Maybe they changed things up though in this version. If you got the opening scenes for the search for Warren in CODA 2 to activate, presumably you've got all the prerequisites for doing it. Did you get that opening scene in Heim with the White Knights and Canopus talking about how they were going to go search for Warren?
To answer your question about Nybeth and getting kicked out, when I beat him in Chapter 4, the game asked me if I wanted to leave the dungeon. I chose No as I wanted to do the rest of the floors at that level. I imagine CODA would probably work the same way.
If that non-Nybeth fight happens to be Blackmoor, he and his liches have some decent drops. Not a total waste.
- guides actually work in coda if you got them by rescuing warren even if nyneth isn’t dead in act4
- to fight blackmoor (and get the ogre set) nybeth has to be dead which now forces me to anchor back to act 4 and redo palace all over again x2 (not a fan of this and may just not do it)
