Elemental Wands
Do they actually augment their respective elemental spells or they only apply a bonus on-hit? And is there a dark elemental one? Assuming restoration/purification is the divine variant.

I only tested it with heal but as you can see the difference is very small. I haven't paid attention to regular attacks with elemental weapons though.

That was with restoration wand in one and magus staff+1 in the other? they also have 8mnd difference, if so, healing scaling is really bad

The first rod is a relic-class light-element wand. 12 points into the light element (not sure how much 12 points is worth).
The other one is just a generic craftable 1h staff (+1).

Also, yeah healing scale is very bad. The single biggest thing you can do to increase your heal value is to change your cleric's element to light.

According to coffeepotato a youtuber in the tactics ogre community those numbers are % so that would be 12%, but maybe they only apply on attacking with the weapon then?

Actually that makes sense. I have a rematch video with Dorgalua and my double attack with Denam (berserk+double attack+sanguine) was 2k per hit with Lombardia and Brynhildr equipped. I can definitely see that being a %. Do you have a link to Coffeepotato's stuff? Or was that info solely from his YT?

Youtube only, in some of the recent videos he talks about the equipment and says that those are % modifiers, the armor as well if it shows 3 on every race it means you take 3% less damage from them.

Can confirm that healing scaling is absolute garbage. The only significant boosts to healing are heal 1 -> heal 2 -> heal 3 etc.

Even then, spells get outpaced by items pretty badly by the third chapter.

Yeah I stopped using clerics aside from undead fights, once I get major heal 2 I'll think about it, cause it's the only thing that's worth it healing wise

Yea that's actually a good time to reintroduce them to your army. Major Heal II on a light cleric with blessing is not bad at all.

This. I'd done the same thing but Major heal 2 is about 350-400 with the blessing on a potentially massive number of targets. Against the undead it's a game changer because it heals you and kills them.
