How do I know what Route im on. (playing)?

I thought I was on the neutral route, but i've got characters that are only supposed to be recruitable on the Chaotic route.
Is there any real way to tell?

theres some overlap on characters you can get in different routes.

if you sided with Leonar at Balmamusa at the end of C1 you are on the Law route through to chapter 4
if you refused you are on chaos

end of chapter 2 chaos
agreeing with Leonar that 'this is no time to fight' = neutral cchapter 3
'you know i cant do that' = chaos chapter 3

In your warren report, under the wheel of fortune(?) option (above tidings) you can match the text of your chapter to route text.

Chapter 3 neutral should say "There will be sacrifices"

Says Neutral. But I recruited people according to the recruitment guide here that are only supposed to be available to chaotic play.

Yea thats what it says.

Phaesta, Chamos and Tamuz I recruited on Neutral, but the guide says they are on chaotic route.

This is why I was/am confused.

You can get them on Neutral. I got them on Neutral myself.

If you look closely at that Steam guide, it was stolen from an older GameFAQs guide (not even any paraphrasing or anything) so the poster didn't actually verify all of the information.
