putting together an achievement walkthrough (spoiler warning)
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2894543670

I'm looking to see if anyone would be down to contribute strategies and accompanying visuals as sort of a loose walkthrough for some later battles (even if it may already seem simple to some).

I didn't take a lot of screenshots of some of the lesser battles since they're easier, but I'm definitely looking to see if anyone has good advice/strategies to add for some later content ch3 or ch4 (visuals appreciated ofc). It's mostly an achievement walkthrough but it will probably cover the entire story including coda ep 1.

My main 2 pieces of advice are just general pieces of advice that apply to pretty much all fights:
1) Keep your team diversified in roles and damage types, but synergized. You should have a frontliner that can do some magic damage (like a valk, ninja, or vartan), and a backliner that can do some physical (like an archer). This will give you a lot more flexibility in fights, and opens the door to infinite "Plan B" as the flow of the fight changes.
2) Status effects make even the hardest fights way easier, whether those effects are coming from consumable items, on-hit effects or direct buffs/debuffs from casters.

Thanks for that. I'll figure out where to best slot in general advice!

I'm really having fun using paint to make small visuals for some of the battles xD

Sorry for the bump!

I'm finishing up chapter 4 advice complete w/ visuals for most important battles (currently at the Barnicia battle portion) and I'm looking for just a broad list of suggestions for the Dorgalua fight specifically. If anyone would like to help in that regard, comment or dm me and I'll add them all into a list for that subsection of chapter 4.

dorgalua
you can reverse your party positions for the fight. putting your squishy ranged units at the front makes dorgalua spawn them closer to your army in front of him.
this makes it pretty easy to steamroll his front line and nuke him down as all your tanky doppelgangers will be to his sides and behind him.
as long as hes not near anyone with risk management active you can explode him pretty easily and ignore the rest of the doppelgangers they will vanish for phase 2

in early levels i loaded up the beast tamer with healing potions ect. and used him/her as i would a chemist in fft using the throw ability to heal from distance and he can wear armor and a decent attack
