found some Onyx Dragons in PoTD they not undead but can't tame them, why?

POTD has enemies that have unique classes that you can't get. Usually they're gold but not always.

If he is actually recruitable, double check his Loyalty by accessing the extra info overlay and putting your cursor over its name. Just keep in mind when that text references "you" it's referring to his commander, not Denam.

Perhaps that particular Dragon just really enjoys where he is in life.

how do i know what's tameable and what's not? so were the heck do i get a onyx dragon for the orb for recuriting deneb?

Basically the only tameable dragons are the following

Arc (Light)
Darkness
Flood (water)
Flame
Cloud
Earth
Thunder
Frost
and Hydra

You need one of each to get Deneb.

Special side note, you don't have to recruit them as that type of dragon. You just have to auction off one of each. Any dragon that isn't a hydra can change class into another type of dragon so you really just need eight dragons.

Also do not try to get Deneb before you've upgraded three relics from POTD at her shop. If you don't do that she doesn't come with her unique class which is arguably the strongest caster in the game.

Yeah, there is a non-recruitable version almost of every generic unit, pretty much. You also can't recruit Crystal Dragons.

If you use the tame ability and target, you can see an icon.
If there's a slash through it, it can't be tamed.

There are so many guides for this game out there that already answer your questions.
Instead of posting every question in this board and then bumping them until you get an answer, try checking a guide. It'd probably be a lot faster than waiting for someone in this thread to spend the time to type one up for you.

Like ... I went on Google and typed in "Tactics Ogre Deneb" and one of the first links to pop up was this[www.thegamer.com]
It tells you which dragons give which orbs, and how to get Deneb's Wicce class.

not trying to be rude and i'm using that guild but don't tell where dragons are and why some can't be tamed so atm i have 8 just need a nydra plz and ty all vm for helping^^
