quick question; do unconcious units gat experience after battle?

since apparently you cant make a quicksave that can be used im hesitant to simply test this. im also early enough to be be hesitant to waste a revive.

I dont think so in story missions, but training I believe as long as 1 member is alive everyone gets XP.

the answer seems to be yes. did a map in phorampa where 2 of my guys were knocked out just before i won and they got xp.

They get exp just fine. You can see it in the post battle screen.
And they also get exp in Training battles, even though they vanish instantly when they fall.

I think the only cases where a unit gets no XP is when a guest character bails out of a fight.

If the unit is actually dead it also gets no XP.
