It's best to do palace of the dead as the last thing you do in chapter 4 before you beat the game and go into CODA.

It is very important you DO NOT world around once you start palace of the dead before you finish the game and move on to CODA because if you use WORLD before you finish the game and after you beat POTD you'll lose your progress and you do not want that.

Ideally you'd do all three routes to get the characters and classes unlocked, replay the law route, beat palace, and get the princess ending. That should set you up for CODA.

In the law route is the only one where Vyce survives, I think to do CODA he just needs to be in your army I don't think he HAS to be alive but I'm not 100% on that. I know Gildas needs to be in your army but I know for a fact he doesn't have to be alive in the warren report I just don't know if that applies to Vyce the same way it does to Gildas.

Can also be the chaos route but you need the princess ending and you need multiple characters in your rooster (they don't need to be canonically alive but need to be recruited), in the neutral route gildas dies, wich is one of the important caracters for CODA, but again if he's in your rooster you should be fine.

-Mirdyn
-Gildas
-Catiua
-Vyce

In your army and did:

-The Princess Ending

You are fine.
If you want an special fight on PotD floor 100 you must beat it before going into CODA, then go there again during CODA.

You don't need to get to level 100 for relics. And after you get to certain floors there are ways to skip back to them later.

Relics can appear after Floor 3.

Deneb is a secret character that can be recruited in Chapter 4 or CODA.
