Destroy/Move Buildings?
Is there a way to destroy or move buildings? The UI isn't intuitive (yet?) and I can't figure out how to remove a building. Any suggestions?

You can make a deconstructor in your assembler. Just equip it on a bot or a building and drag the target to the building you want to deconstruct. You get 100% of the resources back

Ah ha! Never realized I needed a robot to do the work, but for a game all about making the robots do the work, that makes sense - Thank you!

This also works for locations once fully explored too. helps keep the map tidy.

the real question is how do i do it the smart way instead of one by one?

shift doesnt work for multiple buildings

im removing all my walls one by one now to expand my base cuz im dumb

you could use a scanner and scan for walls and let it auto destroy them.

I use this bot to make it much easier - first copy the building with C, then order the bot to destroy it. He then will pickup all the stuff and transport it to the storage (setup in output).

Then simply rebuild it anywhere with V and pasting.

Thats the code for the bot.

Origin, thats a nice little setup.
I prefer to link the output of the scanner to the component instead of the goto command. That way I can still move the unit around and it will continue to do its job if it can do it at range. For example a repair-component will still repair but I can still move my army around and it will repair on the move

Was there some instruction somewhere in the game that I missed? I spent over an hour using a deconstructor and single clicking buildings one at a time and then picking items one at a time up from the ground before I cracked and quit the game lol
