There are a few rough edges (minor bugs) in behavior scripts and in some graphics modes. Although you can workaround them all.
But for you the present the few bugs are no reason to wait with buying - you recommend it and you trust the studio that they are working hard to improve?
Also comparison of hours between Satisfactory and Desynced isn't a good measure, as Satisfactory has been out much longer.
how long is Desynced out
I am curious about scripting system, but it is not running away, I have time
Desynced came out in August, just a few months ago.
That is indeed a whole different story.
SF is in it's fourth year of Early Access and just now we got the next major Update 8 and Black Friday special.
I have quite a few hours into the game and have tried many different builds/approaches to it. The game itself becomes quite tedious and repetitious after a while. BUT I say again, you will get your money's worth.
My largest complaints are you can't upgrade buildings without breaking your scripts that use GET and DROP, you can't move buildings, you have to destroy them and them rebuild them, there's logistics "issues", and while it is a logistics game, logistical tracking and reporting tools are woefully missing.
There is no need to destroy your buildings to transfer them use, https://wiki.desyncedgame.com/Deployer
and Holding down CTRL while pasting a building blueprint will try to upgrade any underlying buildings (From update 29 September News)
Thank you.
You don't have to use trains in factorio either, but man that seems like you're torturing yourself.
I understand. Behaviors are a bit complicated, and a lot of people like to say they arent necessary and entirely optional.
At least at this point, I dont consider that to be great advice if you want full enjoyment of the game. Something id want to know ifi was debating the purchase. It wont mean much until you get into it thugh.
I hope you really like it, its a great team, and a cool game.
