Shining sarc bricks hard if they don't have it in hand. My guess every one of his cards required shining sarc lol. Also glad you liked the deck! :)
From my playing alot of White Forest I think you need to include Centurion because otherwise the rank 12s are pretty meh. Pretty much White Forest, Centurion and Toybox. I did also play Bystial White Forest alot but to me the variant I mentioned before seems the best to me for both White Forest and Centurion. I have included Bystials in a 60 card variant but I haven't tested it much yet.
