With that I mean, is up to you OP. Unless you reach the high Plat is up to you if you want to call those decks meta.
you hit meta decks at gold 3 people gold 3 and above are literally on meta decks trying to get to platinum
you'll have fun to gold 3 realise it costs a ton to make other proper decks that are just archtypes and not meta which you can barley make cause of UR cost and then quit even if you make the other fun decks they just get destroyed so hurray what a waste of gems they all were, i have 19 other decks all half complete and all missing the UR's and SR's to make them all not to mention to pull some you need secret packs which some genius decided it would be a great idea for them to show up only when crafting a SR or UR of that pack further decentivising you to actually experiment.
You'll build 1 deck maybe 2 and get fed up, i like the deck that i have but not being able to swap or try other things kills the game, some other key cards that could maybe help are UR.
the monetisation is in the wrong place go figure
19 other decks and all half completed, but you still reached gold 3. I mean I agree with your points about the silly temporal secret packs and absurd UR cards for terrible decks but that's a LOT of decks you are trying to play and build.
Take it personal if you wish, but you may want to focus a bit more to finish and learn a few decks before trying a dozen more.
But ultimately: The higher you go, the more likely you're facing strong meta decks, but as long as you're playing weaker decks, you'll most likely have a hard time getting that high.
And in the case where a deck performs well enough to be consistently used in plat, it might just become meta if enough people use it.
Here I am messing around with Marincess and other decks *MISSING THEIR GOOD NEW OCG SUPPORT CARDS* and we have thousands of copy, pasted, Eldlich and Virtual World decks all over platinum.
It's so disgusting. These people disgust me.
