Missing zip wire / zip line and other graphics glitches

Hi, was enjoying the game up until playing The Taiga level. The zip wire, which allows access to the portion of the map across the river, has disappeared. I can see the ribbons, attached to the wire, waving in the wind but no wire. Mousing all around the area, where the connection point should be, doesn't help. I have turned off and on various graphics options, reduced the video quality and have even reverted the Nvidia graphics drivers to pre-522 but none of this helps. There are other graphics issues like missing textures. This causes invisible barriers and floating items. It makes the gameplay really frustrating. Any advice welcomed 👍
p.s. my saves don't go back far enough to where the wire was there.

Had you tried repaire game files via Steam?
But I don't understand what wire across the river you're talking about. Once I couldn't figure out how to get to the other side of a small bay when there were rocks on the left. It turned out that you had to go through a cave on the left on the mountain and, according to the plot, get trapped. There was no other way there. But maybe you're talking about something else? There are a lot of rivers and wires on this level, so it's not clear to me what place you're talking about.
