Do I need both the enhanced and the normal versions?

I'd prefer to not download the game twice if it's not necessary. Can I cancel the normal download and just do the enhanced edition along with the dlcs? Is the other download just for the non enhanced version or is the enhanced basically an update to the game and u need both?

You only need enhanced edition and with EED you can also play the DLCs. So, yes you can cancel normal game download. Enhanced edition is an upgraded version of base game (i think visually mostly).
