Metro Exodus is a great game but i can't recommend the Enchanced Edition of the game, because it's full of bugs:

First Bug, the game do repeating crashing.
Bug with the aspect ratio.
Bug by loading the game.

Please don't buy unfinished games, don't support that practice from Game developers.

You can't buy this version without buying the original. It's a bonus, there is no way to directly pay for the Enhanced Edition.

yes you are right, but other game developers do also publish unfinished games, so it's a message for all gamers to do not support that shady practice and be carefully by buying games.

I think this games have many bug because not ready in store, just ready only in library with apart from original exodus library. Not same like Epic Store version it's include with old Exodus. I think this make more and more bug, last I have BSOD issues after turn half VSYNC, I don't know why, only in half VSYNC when setting turn off it's running normal.
Overall in game I got 60fps in 1440p with max setting it's awesome games

Everyone complaining about crashing like crazy and I haven't had a single crash in 38 hours...

I think folks your system is not up to date and you are likely running an unstable OC as well because this game also works as a system stability test.

I only encountered 2 major bugs, resolution won't save properly and depth of field is bugged (most obvious when you scope).

I just had a crash on Caspian while driving around. It happened right after the one of the Baron radio transmissions. Had another crash on Volga after getting the railcar out of the terminal.

All my drivers are up-to-date and not OC-ing anything.

The game won't launch without it, it's required for Direct X 12 RT support.

That doesn't really make sense or apply to Enhanced edition.
it actually is 100% free if you already own the game, and a bonus if you buy the game post the launch of Enhanced. it in no way even inflated the price of the base game.

if anything you should support practices like this, you are getting an overhauled game with no extra cost added. you should really read up articles on the amount of work that went in to the Enhanced edition before you criticize and assume things.

you are being extremely unfair with your logic here, if this was the case for the original game then yeah, you could actually make that argument if that was the case when the game launched, but you just said you liked it.

I dont get any crashes so far, the only really really game breaking bug is that its never dark outside. It looks like Daylight outside, only difference is that the enemies have they're lamps on.

edit: Oh and that i need to watch the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ intro every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time! The normal game does not do that on a slow HDD, why does this game does it on a SSD and overall much much better hardware?!?

I've gotten incredibly lucky so far, because I haven't had any issue with the Enhanced Edition besides ghosting (with or without DLSS or HDR or a combination of either). No crashes or settings bugs or gamma issues.

I'm guessing I just happen to have the exact right combination of hardware.

No crash but badly optimise om my RTX3070. So many frame drops. 100 fps to 40 regardless of the settings. Will stick to the non Enhanced edition

Also the game freezes frequently in my 2080ti at 1440p and DLSS active
