saved game gone?
I bought the game 2 months ago, made good progress in the story and then had to reinstall my PC. everything removed, Steam all the games, had to reinstall everything, so reinstall Metro Exodus too. Finished downloading, started and what's that? I can't click continue? I have to start completely over in the story? everything from the beginning? Is there no cloud save thing or whatever? What is that?!

The regular version of exodus has cloud saving, but this causes game errors. EE version, no longer has cloud saves. The only solution to this is to transfer the records from the old computer.

What doesn't make sense? Disable steam cloud saves, the chapter save files from the original version can be used in the new version so long as they are present: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Metro_Exodus#Save_game_data_location
