How do I exit the row boat?

I'm in what seems to be the first mission after Moscow, I'm in a row boat, there's a never-ending blathering NPC priest in a church, and there's no apparent way to end this torture.

Any other game would have the key-mapping on how to exit the boat, but there's nothing here. How do I progress this?

Yes, I'd re-mapped it, and apparently didn't notice which I'd used to initially get in!
