Can't get the "Last Breath" achievement

The first time I attempted to achieve this specific accomplishment was during the Volga stage inside a bunker where Anna had fallen. I followed the instructions outlined in the achievement description, waiting for the filter to run out and then crafting a new one while suffocating. Despite my efforts, I failed to unlock the achievement. I repeated the process in various hazardous locations, ranging from the Volga and Caspian regions to the final stage of the dead city, but still, I haven't succeeded in obtaining the achievement.

In my pursuit, I consulted several guides and attempted to wait until Artyom was close to suffocation before crafting a new filter. I even tried dismantling all of my filters down to one minute, waiting until I was suffocating, going back into my backpack, and crafting a new filter, yet I achieved zero results.

Please, can anyone enlighten me on this issue? Is this a bug or do I have done it wrong?

iirc, I was using my last filter when I started to suffocate, so I crafted a new one. It worked. Maybe you've hit a bug. Try starting a new game in a new slot and check again.

I tried to start a new game slot and did it several times at the Volga stage. And I was finally able to achieve it. It was all thanks to you :)

How exactly did u got it? I have tried a buch of times but is not working for me, even tried in a new game
