"DirectX Version: DirectX 12"
and under render on DirectX Features
everything is enabled including DirectX 12 Ultimate
Under drivers it says
feature levels 12_2, 12_1,12_0 ... 9_1
I will give this a shot ASAP, thank you!
On AMD laptop/desktop, AMD GPU can always override and force Windows run games on AMD GPU which sucks.
In addition to Nvidia GPU Control Panel, you should do the following:
Use DDU to uninstall AMD GPU, reinstall AMD Driver with the option driver only.
Open Windows Settings( Windows + I ), Open the following screen: System > Display > Graphics
Select game(s) from there, if not existed, use Add an app function to add your game(s) executable there. Then open Options button from the game on the list, check the checkbox on NVIDIA GPU.
If you have MUX/Advanced Optimus, disable AMD GPU using that.
And next time, don't listen to the AMD THE BEST crap. It is the lie like the cake. Don't buy anything has AMD.
This is not an issue with Windows, this is the issue with the AMD mainboard and AMD APU. It sucks, it forces the whole system and many high performance games/apps running on AMD.
So I am going to have to say goodbye to virtual super resolution? :(
tbh, I didnt care about what cpu this laptop had when I bought it... Next time I ll make sure its Intel
I will just stay away from AMD until they resolve their crappy issue with overriding Vulkan driver, DX driver, disable/corrupt Nvidia drivers, also their useless driver/software version mismatch BS.
But, your specs will stay around for another 5-6 years, I hope AMD will improve by then, hopefully. I switch side from AMD fanboi to Intel/Nvidia because of those.
Sadly for me the only way to make higher than 1080p resolutions available for games and the laptop's monitor is to use VSR. I tried some other programs but they didnt seem to work. There is no option to do it from the nvidia panel either... it sucks to suck
