I was wondering when I posted, was it the first or second fight. I think it was the second.
Did those of you that had the lag set him on fire? I set him on fire the first fight though and there was no problem.
Im running the old nvidia driver too, 522.25. Its been great the whole game until that fight. Im running a rtx 3080ti.
I can't remember if the bear was on fire for the fight. It was in May when I had this happen.
I just thought though, that this was my second play of Exodus. I do not recall the bear fight doing that when I first played maybe two years ago.
I felt the same as you that is was maybe luck that I managed to complete the bear fight.
My bear was on fire when it happened.
It happened to me while using a 3080ti GPU too, and that should be more than sufficient. If I were new to the game and approaching this fight, id turn down some graphics settings just for this fight. Post processing would probably help, and any effects settings. Turning down the detail on the fire.
