RTX 3070 players, what's your graphc settings? I get microstutters on Ultra
I read that I should set it on High (which I did and it lessened the frequency of the stutters), what about raytracing and DLSS? I only use a 1080p 60 hz monitor.

I had low fps issues as soon as I reached the Volga level. I am on a RTX 3080, i7 11800 and 32 GB RAM. Even setting the Quality to medium did not affect the performance at all. I was running normal Ray tracing with DLSS on Quality. I changed DLSS to Performance and Ultra Performance, still no difference. Ultimately I had to play the regular edition and that too on DX11 and the performance is smooth now. The engine is horribly optimized.
cap your framerate to 60fps, anything over is wasted and making the video card work "extra" to no advantage.

you should be able to get max everything in ME:EE , depending on your other specs?

Not necessarily true, even at 60Hz, a framerate above 60 will decrease latency and will offer increased temporal resolution.

anything in particular you did? anything on ultra and it stutters lol. It's 85% stable at high tho but it's annoying when they occur.

It's a SP game, so wasted efforts above 60.

I have been dealing with similar stutter issues - I have a similar rig to you (3070, i7 12700, etc) and one thing I have noticed is my average framerate is high but my 99% FPS is terrible. From memory, hovers 10-25 fps through the first two levels. Haven't made it farther than that as it just isn't a fun experience with the stutter.
I am not experienced to know for sure, but other games seem to have a smaller spread between average and 99% fps - I assume the stutter I see is my system ping ponging between these extremes.

Pretty annoying indeed. It's not constant but it's frustrating when they happen. Kinda distracting from an otherwise nice game so far.

Do you guys have any in-game overlays on? Steam overlay, Nvidia Overlay etc...
Try turning them off and see if that will help.

RTX 3070 FE, I9-10900K here.
Quality high, Raytracing high, DLSS performance, VRS 2X, Hairworks off, tessellation on.
It is playable with no problems, except it cause GPU fan to go crazy.

So most importantly, if you want performance with high settings. Go into Nvidia control panel and limit the framerate to 60.
And it become perfect, no more throttling fan...I just hope more game devs give us the option to limit framerate ingame.

I run High with DLSS Quality and Ultra Ray Tracing @ 5120x1440 and it runs between 60 and 80 without any stuttering. The reason for no stuttering is that the frames stay within a few frames or so, just some areas run at 60-65 and some at 75-80

Playing at 3440x1440 resolution on my ultrawide with an RTX 3070. All settings are maxed out, including ray tracing... with DLSS set to "quality." Seems to be running great for me.

I turned off motion blur though... just b/c I think I prefer game without it.

I'm on a 3080ti at 4k and the game stutters like crazy. I get about 120fps in-doors (not a waste, I always target 100fps+, it looks and plays better), but even staring at a wall the game stutters like crazy.

Edit: I fixed it: I'm on a 12700k, disabling the E-cores fixed the issue
