Controller Not working

When i try to play the game it seems like I have both controller and keyboard activated at the same time, i cant open the first door unless i push key E

Disable steam input in controller settings for the game fixed it for me.

I used a ps5 controller though, so I can't change which weapon I wanna modify in the workbench/backpack. Have to get out of the menu, equip the other weapon and go back into the modification menu. Cumbersome, but it works.

i'm also using a ps5 controller. I'm also fighting keyboard/controller switching. but more important, i bought the game to try out the haptic triggers. They don't work!

Are you connecting the controller via Bluetooth, or is it wired?

it's been setup to work wireless for other games. but even if i connect it by wire, it doesn't work. maybe it's connected wireless without me knowing?

but still, do you guy's play the normal version, or the enhanced one? I only bought this game to experience the haptic triggers. bugger it doesn't work.

vibration does work, only the haptic doesn't

The controller should work wirelessly, but from what I understand the haptic triggers won't work over Bluetooth.

Not on steam deck so not sure if this'll help, but I just started the game and it wouldn't recognize my Xbox controller inputs in game but it did in pause menu. Under game options I switched controller from auto detect to Xbox and it started to work normally in game so far.
