1. Right-click on the game entry and go to 'Properties'
2. Open the 'Local files' tab
3. 'Browse'
4. In the Finder window, right-click on 'MetroExodus'
5. 'Get Info'
6. Check the 'Scale to fit below built-in camera'
7. Hit ok and then launch from Finder

Well, reguardless of what the error read; your 1080ti doesn't support DirectX 12 Ultimate, so you can't run Enhanced Edition. You should play the normal version instead.
Even though my machine is more than powerful enough for the enhanced edition, I am relegated to the base game.
I have not yet tried the base game.
Had my headset set wrong to chat (1 channel) changed to game (2 channels) and fixed the startup crash. thanx alot
