Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition

Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition

Is it worth to play this game even if you are not gonna enable the Nvidia features?
Is it better to play this version of the game even if you are not on a RTX machine? Is the performance better? I have a really bad computer with a GTX1050TI. I need to know if this is more optimized than the standard game.

You literally can't play this without a gpu that supports hardware RT. (so a 2060 minimum...)

He's saying you can't play the "enhanced edition" because it requires an rtx card. You can play the regular 2019 version which doesn't have full ray tracing capabilities

yea its for RTX cards only which is stupid considering they are hard to get right now, many players still on older GTX cards (me included)

No you didn't. This version removes all types of rasterized light from the original version and replace to accurate ray tracing light.

Yes, you can use any ray tracing capable card.

It's not. You can still play the original version, which is exactly the same game but without the ray tracing only lights.
Besides.. do you think A4 did that for PCs? No, this enhanced version was made for PS5 and Xbox Series X, that are ray tracing capable and they both run at 4k 60fps. They gave this for free on PC for existing users because why not? Why the hell PC butt hurt users need to complain about? If wasn't for the consoles being now RT capable, this version wouldn't even exist as the original already had some ray tracing implementation for PC RTX.

This version has no other enhancements. It's for ray tracing only. If you could install this version and turn it off, it would be redundant because it would be just like the version you already have. Play that one.

yea I know about the original I played it already, but they still could have at least made the RT optional enable/disable, I wasn't expecting to run RT on enhanced edition, I was hoping they fixed the issues that original had with enhanced edition and that doesn't seem to be the case :/

The primary change in this edition is the engine change. The new 4A engine doesn't function without RT capable hardware, and they stated that all future 4A games will be developed with this in mind.
A game exclusive for a specific hardware on PC? That Is the most ridiculous thing i've heard. Here i thought being exclusive to a specific store was bad enough. The Idea of buying a specific hardware to run specific games is something only the consoles had. On PC we have the freedom to play anything, from old generations to the new ones. From original games to the remasters and remakes of those games. If they really have a engine that doesnt work without RT cores then this is literally the beggining of PC 2

What's the point of making the RT optional in the enhanced edition? THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE THE REGULAR 2019 VERSION IN THE FIRST PLACE

Metro2033 and last light Redux was enhanced too but you could also disable all the new features and play It on low settings and was playable in every low end PC.
