Is it possible to disable raytracing?
Just got the game thinking this version would just be same with some visual improvements. Raytracing is cool but frames suffer a bit. Though notice you can't seem to disable raytracinig completely in the setting, which eats the framerate. Is raytracing always only on in this version?

Yes, ray tracing is always on. The baked lighting was completely removed.

Without ray tracing you would have zero lighting left in this game, and everything would be pitch black. So it makes no sense to disable it. To play without ray tracing you need to start the normal edition.

Funny thing is, I have a RTX card and for me the normal edition has lower fps and terrible load time. The enhanced edition, beside better graphics, has much better load times and fps.

You can't disable RTX but you can play the base game and disable it till your hearts content.....

With your specs I'd play the non-enhanced version. Your 4gb of ram is awfully low for this game and may cause you issues.

Yeah, I'd recommend the base game if you want the best fps.

This game doesn't make much use of Raytracing anyway.

From what I saw so far lighting is the only RT effect in the game.
So just set your RT effects to performance and you should get almost the same perefrmance like in standard edition.
Even without DLSS.
