Besides the graphics and soundtrack, the game is excellent in every aspect. We are waiting for FromSoftware's response. But until then, Team Ninja sits on the throne.

Before Wo Long, DS2 was my least favorite out of the FromSoft/Ninja lineup, but that spot is now reserved for Wo Long. Not a terrible game, but it has way too many issues, even ignoring the loads of crashes and other technical issues.

The flag system is the single worst addition Team Ninja has made thus far.

Performance aside that is a huge overstatement. Game doesn't even come close to the game it is trying to copy (Sekiro). Def not a bad game though.

Demon's Souls on PS5 certainly is better technically, but lost a lot of the alien weirdness that the original had. So I agree. I like the PS3 version more, quirks and all. That being said, Demon's Souls is possibly my favorite, but is not the best in the genre by a long shot. Nearly every game after it has improved on its mechanics and design.

PS5 is a massive downgrade. Demon's was consider the best of all soulslikes in terms of atmosphere. They remake ignore every single atmospheric choice to put in " purdy graficks, Duur". Basically, the people in charge of the remake were clueless morons.
