Lu Bu overtuned?
I dont know how i should feel about him. He is so awkward to fight. His red counters are hella a*s and his hp bar is crazy.

Any tips?

Edit: Killed him

your fatal strikes on lu bu do no damage if you're knocking him off the horse and less than half as much damage to him as to other bosses. either he's got double their hp, or something is off. the guy either takes far less damage than other bosses or has way more hp than they did.

Compared to every other boss fight on the game it IS a slow fight, not sure why you're claiming otherwise when it's blatantly false.

The pace of the fight is 100% dependant on how often he throws out super attacks.

IT's really not though? Just be aggressive with him and chunk the spirit gauge far before he even has a chance to through red attacks.

Doesn't look like a long fight to me and I screwed up a fair amount. I have watched people fight him though and stay SUPER far away from him for some reason. Be aggressive, hit those spirit attacks and control the fight.
what level are you that you're chilling on 198k Qi? are you wildly above the recommended level of 37 for that battlefield and that's why it seems so easy to you?

what level is everyone when taking this guy on?

No sir, I stay under or right at the level of story missions. I try not to over level at all.

The buff/debuff you see at the bottom per deflection is from the general of man armor. Every deflection my damage goes up, but I receive more damage, so this is done with light armor at 28% equipment weight.

It's not a slow fight, but that is definitely a way to play. Lu bu is kind of like Tachi bana in nioh, he's a skill check (Not insulting you OP.) TN loves to plop them into the games and see if people can pass them.

Tachibana didn't have permanent super armour and was vulnerable to ki depletion as well as various powerful techniques that made a joke of many human enemies.

LOL
Your memory must be bad. That guy had constant super armor and was almost immune to ki depletion. Not everyone used cheese skills either. A lot of us fight bosses a normal way.
Yeah you can fire a cannonball at his face, but what is the point if you just use i-win buttons? Why even play the game at all then.

I loved that fight, but what you said about it isnt right.

Yeah, the creature bosses are much more fun to fight and you actually get to attack more than once.

Team ninja is keeping their tradition of making human enemies annoying to fight. Though I still prefer those humans more than the Nioh humans.

Not sure what you are on about. The human fights are almost always a lot more fun since they aren't easymode unlike the Youkai or monsters that are gimmicky and can typically be dpsed too death since they dont block.

Against them its an actual skill matchup instead of ''how fast can you spam damage''
Unless that is your point ''they require more skill to fight, so they are annoying to fight''

He has an enormous amount of hp or damage reduction. I didnt check which. As for level. Idk, 40~ or something maybe. I'm 49 atm which is recommended level for my current battlefield. And that is after just completing a side mission so I assume it was similarly for that battlefield.

He wasn't easy for me. But im also gimping myself since I went mostly Water Virtue and didnt upgrade my potions. I think I had like 4 attempts where I got him down to 10% only to still die, heh. Final fight I killed him with around 1% of hp left.

If you played Dynasty warriors games, you'd know that Lu Bu is like Chuck Norris levels of badass.

If you thought Lu Bu was hard, wait until you get to the 3 v 1 sub mission.

i wasn't talking about the buff/debuff, but more so that you claimed it wasn't really that long of a fight and in the video showing proof looked like you beat him with an overleveled character that would obviously make the fight easier on top of the fact of having already beaten or at least fought him numerous times before to do it in 3.5 minutes while sitting on nearly 200k Qi when the average enemies in that battlefield give 2k or less when killed. being overleveled helps make a fight seem easier just like a crap ton of practice does. either way, i thought your opinion was skewed and pointed it out. if you're just farming the area and not leveling up while endlessly practicing, i trust you, but that practice itself helps make the fight seem a lot easier, wouldn't it?

Yeah Lu Bu is definately a long fight normally.

I had a lot of fun fighting Lu Bu, man felt like a boss and made me feel like a boss for beating him

It's not a practice fight, that was my first clear of lubu.

That's the entire broadcast, fight begins at 1 hour and 25 mins. I died for around 25 mins before getting my stride and then beat him.

Tachicana could easily be ki broken and was only armoured on his iai spam. I didn't use a canon, I used either dual swords with 'no deflect' and extra 'break' or normal sword and the parry the lets you slam humans to the ground for an immediate crit or iai strike.

Lu Bu is way easier than Tachibana imo.

Oh for sure, but he was also a bit more engaging IMO because you could create bigger opportunities to deal damage.
