Nah, every single time I do anything in the settings it all just gets reverted. I even went into the save file and edited them manually and it still just resets.
On top of that I can't find the .ini file of this game anywhere rn so I can't even try n fix it there.
Gamepass too. I've tried it multiple times. Just made a thread about it a bit ago too.
I'm almost certain that it's a game bug. Classic unreal 4 game release.
%SystemDrive%\%USERPROFILE%\Documents\KoeiTecmo\Wolong\Savedata
have any non-standard english characters in it? Like stuff you wouldnt be able to find on a US based qwerty-keyboard. Sometimes that can cause issues saving in the documents or sub folders. Altho usually I think it prevents creating those files to begin with.
Also, did you check you have a system save?
The game doesn't use unreal 4. It's using their in house engine that was used for most if not all of their games going back from like the ps3 era.
oooh damn, alright. My bad :0
Windows(C) > Users > thecr > Documents > KoieTecmo > Wolong > Savedata
I can confirm that the game is having no issues writing to the json. Leaving it open in notepad+ during and after a restart prompted me for a reload because changes occurred within the document. The title booted up in 1920x1080 and after setting 3840x2160 as my resolution the game correctly wrote to the document my new resolution and booted up at 4k. But for some bizarre reason graphic settings aren't being saved between restarts.
I'm not seeing it anywhere in the graphics settings, where is it at?
I don't think you can deselect performance/quality mode? You pick either one, but you can't pick ''non''. Even if you're on custom.
