In fact the 599 lira is already too much expensive for us to afford(even tho it's close to Valve's recommended price) and they increased it even more to which is like 10day full time job wages
In Thailand this game also cost full week minimum wages lol
Local currencies& regional price exists because they want to make sure people could afford them instead of pirating
But now it seems like they just don't care anymore Couple of days ago there is indie dev who tried to explain the situation that backs in 2022 85% of sales in Turkey are actually made from outside So I could imagine Koei probably got some number on they hand as well it's more about a region-hopper problem it really sucks for Turkish people.
I understand that even with the high regional prices for first world players it's still cheap to buy this way, but Steam or the companies should take some kind of measure so that we are not always the affected ones. We do not have the same purchasing power in Argentina as in New Zealand, which is the currency that is closest to the current value of the game in Argentina. And we must also add 74% taxes. This will make it more and more difficult to buy games and regional prices will no longer matter.
Game cracking is sadly slowly dying, no more free stuff.
"What I can say is that we saw a huge increase in sales in your countries last year, but no increase in the number of players. Something like 85% of sales coming "from Argentina and Turkey" seem to be coming from people playing in other countries - people who are chasing the lowest possible price on Steam. This is apparently a widespread problem on Steam, which is why Steam is recommending an especially large increase in your regional prices."

Same thing happen to Fatal Frame IV (also KT), here in Brazil we also had an absurd price increasing, way over the steam regional table.
