Try a heavy bowgun. Easily the best weapon in the game for the Counter Signals. Maintain a safe distance from the monsters and pelt them with shots that easily deal over 100 damage each depending on the ammo type, some are explosive and hit multiple monsters
It also sounds like you need practice using the Block mechanic on the turrets. You can hold a block button that prevents you from getting knocked off the turret when you're hit by a monster. A little annoying to time especially if you're distracted, but it's strong if you manage it
I was under the assumption original poster is already doing that.
Are you already applying the rampage solo tips I have with the hunter notes?

If you need any more pointers let me know.
Also you can block attacks with R1 and charge the special cannon shots at the same time.
That Ibushi monster likes to send people flying up in the air and even with others it's not gonna change much.
I don't remember how the Shield functions in World but it's definitely good in Rise
Ok nice, I will try that, thanks!
I'm too lazy to explain how to optimize your Rampage runs. Hit up YouTube for some tips.
