of course i do. which is why i would suggest waiting for the games to drop it price in the future. Remember that the expansion will be 6 months after the game is released here. There IS going to be a discount.
If you can't wait, just save up some money and buy the game in 3 months. Just be patient about it. This is not the first game that Capcom has released it as 60USD. Also another scenario, if the game is not getting any good sales coming in from SEA, pretty sure they're going to reduce the price.
tl;dr, wait for discounts.
Your denial is astounding.
and im pretty sure that the CEO cares about you
Say whatever you like. I'm just trying to be reasonable and offer a solution to this mess. I believe that complaining on steam forums is not the best way to get your complaints go through, its pointless. If you think that spending your energy trying to be disappointed and outrage is time well spent, sure. You do you. I guess throwing tantrum is a much more effective move than trying to solve a problem.
Just because I have a different opinion doesn't mean I'm trying to troll or act smug about it. Can't even keep discussions civilized or not being openly hostile. Had to resort to attacking me so you can win the argument. None of you had actually argued that waiting for discount price is not good or patiently waiting for the price to drop or think that being outraged is actually a good idea to be heard.
Saving up is not a solution. I can afford the deluxe edition right now, but that doesn't change the fact that I'm paying about a quarter month's worth of wage to buy a game, if I was making minimum wage, compared to like, 6 hour's worth of min wage in the US.
These are the forums, people can come here to voice whatever they want, as pointless as it may seem. Ironically, telling people that complaining here is pointless is equally, if not even more pointless.
Also, people voicing their discontent and disappointment doesn't automatically mean they're outraged. If that's how someone chooses to perceive it, then that's on them, and they might actually be standing on pedestal, unbeknownst to even themselves.
Thus, he needs to stop his highroad routine.
Finally a voice of reason, thank you.
Yes i realized the irony of this whole thing way ahead lol.
Alright, I think I have mentioned, can't remember which thread was it. Game is a luxury. It's true for us in SEA region. which you have clearly stated that it takes a quarter month's worth of your wage. Saving up really is a solution if you really want the game badly because I am standing on a fact that a lot of publishers high likely have data to maximize their profits. Sadly, PC market for SEA is quite low due to low purchasing power and not a lot of us own PC (or good rigs). I can think that the only reason why MHW was cheap in the first place, is because its kinda of a new game(spinoff) for monster hunter series because it was built with PC market players in mind, so they're trying to dip their toes to see if they can sell the game well.
In short, we're so small to them. Probably they think that RISE wont sell much as MHW, due to being a Switch port. They probably wont earn much from us, probably why they charged us a flat 60USD. You can see for a fact that one, this steam thread is not as active as MHW when it was first announced. Two, we're probably in the minority here, else this thread would've gotten more people commenting. The only reason its 7 pages long is because we're back and forth with almost the same people here.
In my defense, there's a lot of games out there especially triple A games that cost 60 dollars flat, or more. I don't see people complain about it because its expensive, they just.. move on. Even if there are it always get swallowed up. So really we are a minority.
As I have stated earlier MHW was a successful experiment. Of course they're going to charge us more. People don't seem to realize that. In fact, i was more surprised when MHW is $30. Consoles however was $60. So yeah, people shouldn't be surprise at all about the pricing since its Capcom.
Btw, I said outrage was just for dramatic effect. However, I see the errors I made in previous posts which come to realization as more people replied.
To end it. I'm gonna answer OP. No, probably not. The price won't change until they are satisfied with the money flow and the game has passed its peak. It may come sooner if sales have stagnant and declined.
Is that all you can say? Give a one liner and just nod at what people say. C'mon you can do better than that.
edit: forgot to mention, the only way we can force these publishers hand is to vote with our wallet or sign petitions or whatnot. Don't buy their games, dont support until they adjust the regional pricing. Sadly its a downhill battle, since people will actually buy these games at full price. (o.o) looking at you Professional Third Wheel, you bought MH Stories 2 at 60 USD congratulations. Coincidentally i was looking at some discussions about the regional pricing there, and saw your posts. You got ultimately shut down by people who have the same posts as mine. Which reinforce when I said we are the minority. The only reason im getting bash around is because im the minority in this echo chamber.
Point is, I won't talk ♥♥♥♥ to people who called out the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ decision for pricing in this region. It's because OUR currencies are literally nowhere valuable near Euro or US Dollars. Having the price still as the same as those first world countries is legit unfair AND I 100% support players who called the company out.
If you wanna call that "regional pricing", sure. Everyone else would see it as "plopping a USD tag on a currency converter"; something even kids can do. No need for Capcom to have market research divisions to do that.

This thread isn't called "Will there be no regional pricing for China?". Every region Capcom screwed counts.
WTF!
+100% and up...
