I'm surprised there isn't more discussion here. This should scratch the itch of a lot of people. Are you planning on doing an early access, or do you feel confident in releasing a 1.0 version from the get go? Is this a one person build or is there a team working on it? One of the most difficult challenges for anyone on this types of games with single player is programming a quality AI.
