come on, the devs say they are in control: it is their engine. Let them craft us an hell of elf64/linux native build (miminal deps to be as much distro agnostic as possible, etc)

The game doesn't start at all under any Proton version I have, mostly leading to an error message that opens a modal dialog box saying "background_vs" before quitting

I'm trying to runt it on Ubuntu 20.04, but without success. I did install all the `protontricks` but still getting "Texture not found" error. After last update I was able to see the loading screen, but not much more. Anyone achieved better progress?

Me! Even without Linux Support i think Games like this should be rewarded ....now we play the waiting Game until it gets a Linux Port or get Patched till we can use it with Proton/WIne/Vulcan etc

The dev is small. Get realistic here. Why waste time and effort on converting the game to an OS that doesnt even cover 1% of steam users. It even less likely that 1% of that 1% will start buying this game to begin with. Its a niche market to begin with, this game. On almost every forum i see you guys beg for linux support. If you are that regretful of your descision, just use windows already. Its not that easy to convert everything for linux use.
