PC players don't deserve crossplay
There I said it. This isn't bait. This is the truth. You can check my Steam account. I've been playing PC games since I was a kid. If there's anything I've learned in my 18 years of gaming, it's that the PC community doesn't deserve the console userbase. I made the switch to Playstation in my early teens, and almost instantaneously I noticed the difference. There were no more cheaters, less neckbeards, and zero technical issues. I didn't have to hear entitled people moan about framerate, didn't have to read up guides on how to get games running, and most importantly I didn't have to hear that ultra cringe PC master race nonsense.

Why should the single mom who comes home from work, sits on her couch and turns on her console have to deal with some mouth breathing degen who modded his PC install. She shouldn't. Let us wallow in our own filth after the decades we've spent shaming console players.

The truth is, it takes a certain type of person to sit down and intertwine their ego with a gaming platform. And more often than not, that's what PC gamers do. There's this underlying superiority complex that grows within them, and they look down on others because of it. Low self esteem individuals usually gravitate towards this platform as a result.

That's why you never meet toxic Switch players in crossplay games. People who buy Switches tend to touch grass and have lives outside their homes, resulting in more positive attitudes towards others. The same goes for Xbox and Playstation owners. I'm honestly happy Gun has recognized this and taken a firm stance. And I'm just hoping other studios follow suit.

Alright this is stupid. Morons play across all platforms. PC users just have more options to behave like morons.

But in games like this I do my homework and make sure to have a console version too. Which is why I have the physical Ps5 version downstairs. God knows F13 had their share of cheaters; it's nice playing a multiplayer game with those barriers of entry up.

What even is this nonsense? The most homophobic and racist remarks I've heard on this game have been from console users and some of them don't even sound old even to buy the game themselves.

Are you seriously going to sit there and state that only PC has "problem" users, OP?

You are delusional at best, lol.

Have you never been in a console COD lobby? This is bait, right? I mean what am I saying, ofc its bait. Nice hook, brother.

Have you ever been in a Valorant lobby? COD lobbies are super chill these days. No one talks because everyone is in party chat with their real life friends. Activision even records conversations in cases of harassment.

If your argument is that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and cheaters don't deserve to play with others then sure I hope most would agree with that.

But kind of messed up how you describe yourself as a PC gamer who plays on console, or aka just a gamer who is agnostic to platform, but are apparently assuming that everyone else on PC isn't in that position and they're all terrible. That's just another superiority complex.

How about talking about what normal good natured players DO deserve, which is to be able to play with as many other people as possible and to have the best game playing experience possible. Something we ain't gonna be getting for the foreseeable future.

What a stupid take. Every platform has idiots and rude ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I've run into more toxic d bags on console than I ever have in any PC game. The majority of the time I've been told to kill myself or called obscenities it's been console users acting tough.

Dude 90% of all pre-lobby drivel I've witnessed so far in TCM has been spouted from the mouth of a console tagged player.

But keep thinking your fellow consolers are all saints and us PC users are all sociopaths. Whatever cognitive dissonance you need to believe "your team" is just and the "others" are bad is your own boat to float.

The majority of multi platform gamers know better. (like me)

Its not the platform, its the people, and unfortunately alot of our fellow gamers are immature when it comes to treating others with decency when the shield of anonymity is in play.

I've had 10x more toxic console players than I ever had toxic PC players. Glad to leave multiplayer gaming on Playstation/Xbox behind.

"Less neckbeards" I had dudes trash talking on Gundam of all games on PS5 and random messages being spammed on many multiplayer lobbies of dudes crying.

"No technical issues" Tony Hawks 1+2 online is broken, Naraka on PS5 randomly crashes, Gran Turismo 7 crashes on other drive, GTA VC on Trilogy crashes, games not updating until launched, MW2 crashes, etc.
Still slightly less issues but no technical issues is lol

This game has been well above average in terms of behaviour honestly. Vast majority of lobbies have been chill and positive.

There's sweetheart communities for PC-only games, and toxic crapfests on console games. It goes both ways. It's all about setting standards. If devs don't do it then games tend to go downhill fast.

Bad take and think this is a skill issue. OP stay mad
This has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. I'm being serious.

- We are
temporarily
separating PC from the console player base in cross play while we continue to improve our anti-cheat tools and resources.

Its like you're the kind of entitled judgmental person you're talking about. Sorry nobodies handing you wins on a silver platter.
