Appease the Moon Dragon

So I was completing the altars for Dynus before I went to talk to him for the first time and completed enough where it starts the cut scene and he gets rid of the darkness etc. However, the appease him achievement did not pop and completing all the altars didn't get it to pop either. The only option now when I talk to him is to fight him. Pretty upsetting bug if there isn't a fix considering I really don't want to start over.

This bug is still occurring to our games as well. Finished all the alters and the quest refuses to accomplish as an offering - forces player to defeat Dynus.

I did manage to get the achievement to work after a few in game days. I left the quest up that said to defeat or appease Dynus and eventually when I talked to him again I had the option to offer the altars and it completed the quest without the cut scene.

Was there a different quest option from Confront Dynus or was it the same quest? I'm also not having the altars seem to count even though they're all done.
