Dynus Altar

so, i learned before hand that Dynus, the moon dragon, had the "bundle and reward" mechanic but with altars. I honestly thought i had to complete the altars THEN I could meet Dynus. I wanted to go the peace route with Dynus on this save file BUT since i completed the altars BEFORE i meet Dynus and chose the option to provide offerings.

I'm just not seeing the cut scene that supposed to go with the altars? so I have no choice but to fight him in the end.

I'm not sure there is a cutscene, there is a dialogue option he gives where he promises to leave sun haven alone and he completes the quest. But even if you complete the altars you're supposed to be able to fight him too if you want to get rewards. I don't know for sure if that's changed since I did it but that's how it used to go.
