Exit game bug is also deleting my character / losing progress

- This is an update w/ more data since my previous post - "'Exit game' permablack screen".
- Every single time I exit game, it goes to a black screen and never exits to the start screen.
- I have to manually quit sun haven to load a different character or go back into my game.
- Two of those times now, in the last 24 hours, it has also deleted my current character, and I have had to restore it from a backup.
- This time it lost an entire 40 minutes of progress.
- Uninstalling game has not helped.
- I play on MacOS

Inability to exit game and intermittent deleting of my character makes it almost not worth playing until this bug can get fixed unfortunately. This is a great game, love it, hope these bugs can get worked out soon.
