Epilogue scene frozen

I defeated Dynus and went through the various quests which I'm assuming were the "epilogue" that was recently added (this was my first time getting to that point in the game so I'm not sure, but I assume so). It ends with a ceremony. I talk to the clerk to start the ceremony. It goes to a cutscene of all the villagers around a stage, but nothing happens. Everyone is just standing around breathing. The only way to get out of it is to force quit the game, and when I restart it says to talk to the clerk again.

Just ran into this bug :( sad there's still no known fix

so i encountered this and fixed it by just playing to the next day, the cutscene played properly then
