Holiday Soup/Winter Festival question (hopefully not a bug)

Alright, this has been bugging my mind for a while, so I have to ask. Currently at the beginning of winter of the first year. The event for the Holiday Soup started, and I thought it's another resource-pile quest.

My problem comes when I went around the town looking for the Holiday Soup Pot near the town hall and couldn't find anything that looks like it. So...where is it? Does it only come out in the later weeks of winter, or what? Even online search doesn't give me any screenshots or pics as to where the holiday soup pot should be located at. I'm hoping I just missed it (somehow).

From what I recall I didn't see it at first either, but it is outside to the right of the town hall. It looks like a massive black pot. It should be there when you get the soup quest. I find if you can't see something going to the next screen and coming back loads things in.

Yeah, I played the holiday soup quest about 3 or 4 days ago so I remember.
